Meet the Skipper

 Steve Brenchley

Steve is an experienced fisherman who has been involved with boats and various types of fishing for most of his life. He was an active Committee member of The Looe Sea Angling Club for 15 years, during this time he gained:

  •          4 Gold NFSA Medals

  •          7 Silver NFSA Medals

  •          8 Bronze NFSA Medals

Plus numerous Cornish fish of the months awards. He left in 2000 to go commercial fishing and has been doing this ever since.

He is a fully qualified offshore skipper, holding a MCA/RYA Advanced Power Boat skippers license with a Commercial Endorsement and a MCA/RYA Offshore Skippers License.

An angler first and skipper second Steve is able to pass on many years of Angling experience to his customers. He welcomes beginners by providing all of the necessary fishing tackle, bait and free tuition needed for a successful days boat fishing, everyone of any ability including supervised juniors are welcome onboard “Meer”, even experienced anglers can learn from others and no one is ever to old or to young to be taught the art of angling.
